The history behind Milton's HOnda
The long journey of Milton's Honda Shop first began in the 1970s when a young Milton Grimes began tinkering with Honda motorcycles as a mode of transportation as well as a mean to produce extra income. After moving to Mobile, AL from Munford, TN with his newly wedded wife Beth in 1976, Milton landed a job at McLeod Marine & Honda Center where he continued to work on Honda motorcycles as well as other Honda motors. Shortly after, his mechanic abilities led him to Treadwell Honda of Mobile where he worked as a mechanic and a salesman. Milton later became service manager over Bill Byrd Acura of Mobile after Acura came into being in 1986. He was later sent to Bill Byrd Honda in Biloxi, MS to serve as service manager while maintaining his position at the Acura dealership in Mobile.
In the early 90's, Milton decided he wanted to break out on his own and created a small Honda and Acura auto repair business called Service-On-Site where he and his business partner performed on-the-spot auto repair services from a portable trailer he had built from old scrap metal. In the long run, Milton's hard work paid off and eventually became inspired to take his career a step further by opening Milton's Honda & Acura Shop in the Fowl River Area of Mobile County in 1992. Milton's Honda later relocated to its current location in 1994 where the business became incorporated.
Milton's Honda Shop is an independently, family-owned and operated auto repair facility where Milton Grimes, along with his son Brandon, work tirelessly together with their family and outstanding employees to provide excellent Honda and Acura auto repair service while taking the time to build personal relationships with their customers. Here at Milton's Honda, we work hard to make sure your Honda or Acura continues to run at its best. No gimmicks; just honest customer service with a primary mission to help a friend.
